Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Document patient care accurately and promptly in the chart/EMR
Communicate clearly and professionally with nurses, providers, and patients' families
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures
Support patient transfers and mobility while using proper body mechanics
Demonstrate empathy and respect to promote a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or eligible) — Georgia certification preferred
Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
Current TB screening and up-to-date immunizations as required
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as part of onboarding
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic assessment skills
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Basic EMR/charting familiarity and documentation best practices
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting
Compassionate interpersonal skills and patient advocacy
