Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy and biologics safely and compassionately
• Perform thorough patient assessments before, during, and after infusions
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and home care
• Monitor and manage infusion-related reactions and collaborate with the team on interventions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Ensure strict adherence to oncology medication safety protocols and infection control standards
• Support a welcoming outpatient infusion environment and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• ONS Chemo/bio card required
• Minimum 6 months of outpatient infusion center experience required
• Experience with ambulatory infusion nursing and infusion therapy (including chemotherapy administration)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong infusion therapy skills and IV management
• Knowledge of oncology/chemotherapy administration and safety (ONS chemo/bio)
• Patient education and compassionate communication
• Proficient clinical assessment and ability to recognize infusion reactions
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with outpatient infusion workflows
• Team collaboration and time management in a busy ambulatory setting
