Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations including x-ray, portable imaging, C-arm and fluoroscopy
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment to deliver consistent, high-quality images
• Document procedures accurately and timely in Meditech
• Ensure radiation safety and infection control for patients and staff
• Position and prepare patients with compassion and professionalism
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the radiology team to support patient care
• Assist with unit-specific protocols, inventory, and equipment readiness
• Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing clinical education

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
• SCRQSA certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience (explicit requirement)
• Proven hands-on experience with x-ray, portable X-ray, C-arm, and fluoroscopy
• Experience using Meditech for documentation
• Ability and willingness to work Friday-Sunday nights and holidays as needed

Education

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiographic techniques and strong patient positioning skills
• Portable X-ray and C-arm operation
• Fluoroscopy procedure knowledge and safety practices
• Radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Clinical documentation in Meditech
• Clear communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care
