Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures while following facility protocols and safety standards
• Prepare and position patients for exams with attention to comfort, dignity, and radiation safety
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper function and reporting issues promptly
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support timely diagnosis and excellent patient care
• Participate in required Trinity skills checklists and specialty competency testing to maintain clinical excellence
• Adhere to infection control practices, immunization and fit-test requirements to keep patients and staff safe

Qualifications

• Current and valid radiologic technologist license/certification (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Current fit test and required immunizations/health screenings (2-step PPD OR IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella)
• Successful Trinity 10 panel drug screen and color vision testing
• Willingness to work day shift hours and every other weekend as required by the schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control
• Skilled in operating radiology equipment and recognizing basic malfunctions
• Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to follow competency checklists and complete required testing
