Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy care for adult patients with orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for conditions like post-op joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, ACL injuries, low back pain, and degenerative neuro conditions
• Manage a typical caseload of approximately 10–12 visits per day, prioritizing safety and outcomes
• Perform fall risk assessments and incorporate prevention strategies into patient care
• Document clinical encounters and billing/compliance items using ShiftWise Flex and NextGen Case Management
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow, accurate billing, and regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, injury prevention, and long-term recovery strategies

Qualifications

• Open to licensed Physical Therapists (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) — position accepts either role
• Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience with adult populations preferred; new graduates are considered
• Comfort managing a daily outpatient caseload (approximately 10–12 visits)
• Ability to perform fall risk assessments and treat common orthopedic and neurologic conditions
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code (business casual — polo and khaki pants required)
• Willingness to use ShiftWise Flex and NextGen Case Management for scheduling, compliance, and documentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient physical therapy best practices and adult patient care
• Orthopedic rehabilitation for conditions such as rotator cuff injuries, meniscus tears, total joint replacement, Achilles tendonitis, and low back pain
• Neurological condition management including degenerative diseases and Parkinson’s disease
• Patient assessment, treatment planning, and progression of therapeutic interventions
• Fall risk assessment and prevention strategies
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and case management tools (ShiftWise Flex, NextGen)
• Basic billing and compliance awareness in an outpatient setting
• Time management to efficiently handle a busy outpatient caseload
