Shift Type: Sunday-Wednesday, 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC (night shift)
Hours per Week: 30
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with CT examinations across adult, pediatric and neonatal populations with confidence
- Provide compassionate patient care: prepare, position, explain procedures and reassure patients and families
- Operate and demonstrate proficiency on CT scanners, following manufacturer and departmental protocols
- Start and maintain IV access, load syringes and use the power injector for contrast administration
- Use RIS and PACS to enter patient data, send images, and ensure accurate exam documentation
- Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain high standards for image and process quality
- Respond to on-call emergencies, assist clinical teams, and initiate life-saving measures (CPR/Code Blue) when necessary
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate maintenance when needed, and keep scan rooms stocked and clean
- Supervise and instruct student technologists, helping the next generation grow their skills
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved formal radiologic technology program (required)
- ARRT registry (Radiologic Technologist) — meets registry requirements (required)
- CT experience up to 1 year is desirable; demonstrated proficiency with CT protocols preferred
- CTP certification (CTPR) is preferred and will make your application stand out
- Current CPR certification required and maintained
- Proficient in IV insertion and IV contrast dosing/administration
- Experience with RIS, PACS and power injector systems
- Ability to work night shifts, participate in on-call rotations, and handle physically demanding patient transfers
Education
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology program (AMA-approved)
- ARRT registration (required)
- CTP/CT certification (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient positioning and age-specific care techniques for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients
- CT image acquisition and protocol/sequence selection to achieve diagnostic-quality studies
- Quality assurance practices and documentation standards
- Operation and troubleshooting of CT scanners, power injectors and related accessories
- Use of Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS for image management and reporting
- Administration and monitoring of IV contrast, including dosing and patient condition assessment
- Strong communication skills for working with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
- Infection control, safety practices and proper record keeping
