Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled speech-language pathology assessments and individualized treatment for SNF residents
Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans that address communication and swallowing needs
Monitor progress and update treatment goals, documenting thoroughly and timely
Collaborate closely with nursing, PT/OT, and care teams to coordinate high-quality resident care
Perform safe dysphagia management and educate staff and families as needed
Step into float assignments when needed to ensure continuity of therapy services

Qualifications

ASHA-certified SLP (SLP-CCC) — required
1-3 years clinical experience (experience in SNF/long-term care preferred)
Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure for practice in Oklahoma
Strong documentation skills and familiarity with therapy workflows in a skilled nursing setting
Comfortable floating between units and adapting to varied caseloads

Education
