Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and document care accurately
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate clinical changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other clinicians to create and follow effective care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (or compact license where applicable)
• Experience in telemetry nursing with comfort interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Current clinical experience in acute care or telemetry units
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred
• Completion of required clinical certifications (BLS required, ACLS preferred)

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Medication administration and IV management
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Infection control and safety best practices
