Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a certified nursing assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document patient care activities clearly and communicate effectively with nurses and families
• Support patient comfort and dignity with kindness and respect at every interaction

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
• Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Previous CNA experience preferred; eager learners with strong bedside manner welcome
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care fundamentals and familiarity with ADLs
• Comfortable taking vitals and observing patient status
• Good communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting
• Basic documentation and charting accuracy
• Compassion, attention to detail, and a calm approach under pressure
