Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning to maintain comfort and prevent injury
• Document patient care and observations clearly and promptly in the chart
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable providing direct patient care in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature)
• Familiarity with basic patient care techniques and safe body mechanics
• Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse patients
