Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a dependable member of the care team
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting with attention to detail
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the clinical team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active CNA license or certification valid in California
• Previous hands-on patient care experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work per-diem shifts

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manners
• Comfortable with patient transfers and safe lifting techniques
• Familiarity with basic clinical observations and documentation
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and clinical directions accurately
• Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
