Shift Type: Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ER
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and document care clearly
  • Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to optimize patient flow
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with urgency and skill
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted California RN license
  • Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
  • Emergency Room experience and comfort with high-acuity cases
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and manage a fast-paced clinical workload

Education

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Triage and rapid assessment in emergency settings
  • IV starts, medication administration, and wound care
  • Familiarity with emergency equipment and monitoring devices
  • Clear, timely clinical documentation and handoff communication
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize under pressure
