Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate bedside care and assist patients with daily living activities
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly
  • Support nurses and interdisciplinary team with patient needs and safe transfers
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
  • Assist with infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients

Qualifications

  • Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification strongly preferred
  • Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling physical patient care tasks
  • Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Patient hygiene and ADL assistance
  • Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
  • Safe patient transfer and mobility support
  • Basic charting and documentation practices
  • Infection prevention and adherence to protocols
  • Professional communication with patients, families, and staff
