Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to patients and families
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and patient positioning
• Document care and observations in the electronic health record promptly and clearly
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
• Contribute to a positive patient experience by being attentive, respectful, and professional

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state-recognized)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and basic nursing procedures
• Vital signs measurement and accurate documentation
• Safe lifting, transfer and positioning techniques
• Basic familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
