Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
• Perform vital signs, basic clinical tasks, and timely documentation
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
• Collaborate with nurses and ancillary staff to deliver consistent, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work overnight per diem shifts with a flexible schedule
• Clear background check and immunization records as required
• Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills with patients and team members

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with infection control and safety best practices
• Reliable documentation and clear communication with clinical teams
• Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing patient needs
