Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Support safe transfers and positioning to reduce fall risk and maintain comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate effectively with nurses
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
• Build positive relationships with patients and families to enhance the care experience

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — current and in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated experience in direct patient care or completion of a CNA program
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with basic patient care tasks and mobility assistance
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and patient safety standards
• Good observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic charting a plus
