Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility support
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care
• Offer respectful, patient-centered communication with patients and families

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (must be valid in California)
• Demonstrated patient care skills and comfort with 12-hour overnight shifts
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire if required
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Reliable professional conduct, strong communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient hygiene, feeding, and basic bedside care
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control procedures and proper PPE usage
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced settings
