Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, focusing on safety and dignity
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Communicate effectively with nurses, supervisors, and families to coordinate care
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Support emergency response and routine patient transfers as needed

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (California certification preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain promptly
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift when scheduled
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Willingness to complete background checks and employment screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Current state CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and comfort with ADLs
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection control best practices
• Clear communication and teamwork in clinical settings
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
