Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate bedside care to assigned patients during the night shift
• Monitor patient status and telemetry, responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement effective care plans
• Educate patients and families, ensuring they understand discharge plans and follow-up
• Support smooth handoffs and thorough documentation for continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license — California licensure preferred or eligibility required
• Experience caring for medical-surgical/telemetry patients (MST) is highly valued
• Current BLS required; ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical skills in medical-surgical and telemetry patient management
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Skilled in recognizing and responding to acute changes in patient condition
• Team-oriented attitude with strong prioritization and time-management skills
