Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with daily living activities
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility support
  • Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and clinical staff
  • Document care and observations thoroughly and timely in patient records
  • Support the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification — required
  • Active authorization to work in the U.S. (as applicable)
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
  • Comfortable performing physical aspects of the role, including lifting and repositioning patients
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
  • Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
  • Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
  • Good documentation habits and attention to detail
  • Teamwork, time management, and a calm approach under pressure
  • Patient-focused communication and empathy
