Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor telemetry and identify cardiac rhythm changes promptly
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
  • Assess patient condition, report changes, and escalate appropriately
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record
  • Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid interventions when needed
  • Provide patient and family education to support recovery and safety

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • Experience working on telemetry / cardiac monitoring units
  • Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and per-diem assignments
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

  • Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
  • Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
  • Safe medication administration and IV familiarity
  • Clear documentation and handoff communication
  • Ability to work independently overnight while collaborating with the team
