Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during 12-hour night shifts
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status using established protocols
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Perform timely handoffs and communicate changes in patient condition
• Respond to patient and family needs with professionalism and empathy
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Experience in Med/Surg and/or MST settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
• Comfort with 12-hour night shifts and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med-surg/telemetry nursing principles
• Skilled in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and standard clinical workflows
• Ability to multitask, triage, and escalate issues when necessary
• Team-oriented attitude with strong clinical judgment
