Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Assess patients regularly and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, communicating changes to the care team
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
Solid Med/Surg nursing experience (previous Med/Surg work is a strong plus)
BLS (Basic Life Support) required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and collaborating in a fast-paced team

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Excellent patient assessment and clinical judgment
Competence in medication administration and IV therapy
Clear, timely documentation and communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients effectively
Teamwork-oriented attitude with a patient-first mindset
