Location: Woodsville, NH

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 12.5-hour Med/Surg shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with facility)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Monitor patient progress and promptly communicate changes or concerns
- Document patient care accurately in the medical record and maintain compliance with facility policies
- Support patient and family education, helping them feel informed and empowered
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact licensure as applicable)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Clinical Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid Med/Surg assessment and clinical skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competence
- Patient safety, infection control, and documentation best practices
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in urgent situations
- Collaborative communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
