Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly and timely
• Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact RN license
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS or specialty certifications encouraged
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; patient-focused mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Med/Surg nursing practices, including post-op care and medical management
• Skillful at patient assessment, IV medication administration, and wound care
• Familiar with electronic medical records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients safely under pressure
• Comfortable collaborating with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff
