Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless patient care
- Document interventions, observations, and patient responses in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with medical-surgical experience
- Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour shift schedules
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care mindset
- Demonstrated clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and protocols
- Patient assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Medication administration and safe practice proficiency
- Clear documentation and charting abilities
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
