Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care in a family-centered environment
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret tracings to support safe deliveries
• Assess and triage patients presenting with obstetric concerns and initiate appropriate care plans
• Care for newborns in the nursery, including routine newborn assessments and stabilization as needed
• Assist with GYN surgical care and perioperative nursing tasks as required
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with families during high-stress moments

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• AHA ACLS and NRP required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
• Experience in triage, labor & delivery, postpartum and newborn/nursery care required
• STABLE and stabilization of high-risk neonate preferred
• Prior experience in GYN surgical care is a plus

• GYN surgical support and intraoperative familiarity
