Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients during the night shift
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage ventilators as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Document care accurately and promptly in the medical record
• Support families with clear, empathetic communication during stressful moments

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California RN license required
• ICU experience — comfortable caring for critically ill adults
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accepted
• BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and monitoring
• Ventilator management and advanced airway support
• Hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication titration
• Familiarity with ICU equipment and lines (central lines, arterial lines, etc.)
• Clear, concise clinical documentation and effective interdisciplinary communication
