Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in the emergency setting
  • Provide direct patient care including medication administration and treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Document patient status, interventions and outcomes clearly and timely
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans and follow-up
  • Act decisively in urgent situations to stabilize patients and escalate care as needed

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
  • Experience working in Emergency Room (ER) settings preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments and critical decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
  • Completion of accredited nursing program and active RN license

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong triage and assessment skills for emergency presentations
  • Proficient in IV therapy, medication administration and wound care
  • Familiarity with common ER protocols and emergency procedures
  • Able to prioritize multiple patients and manage high-acuity cases
  • Skilled in clear clinical documentation and electronic health record use
