Roles & Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in the emergency setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly
- Provide clear, compassionate education and support to patients and families during critical moments
- Respond to changing patient conditions and escalate concerns appropriately
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
- Emergency Department (ER) experience preferred
- BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by the facility
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively on a fast-paced team
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in rapid triage and acute patient assessment
- Experience managing multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously
- Familiarity with emergency protocols and acute care procedures
- Comfortable with clear, concise documentation and handoffs
- Team-centered mindset with strong interpersonal skills
