Roles & Responsibilities

• Direct pharmacy operations for assigned sites, ensuring high-quality, safe medication use
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and QA standards that improve patient outcomes
• Oversee medication safety programs and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership to plan operations, budgets and strategic priorities
• Manage pharmacy information systems, inventory control and charge systems to optimize efficiency
• Serve on Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems and other interdisciplinary committees
• Lead hiring, performance management, coaching and staff development to build a strong team
• Monitor productivity, budgets and partner engagement and adjust plans to meet targets

Qualifications

• PharmD from an accredited college or university
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin (current and in good standing)
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in pharmacy operations
• Proven experience with regulatory compliance, budgeting oversight and human resources responsibilities
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration preferred or equivalent experience

• Medication safety and quality assurance practices
• Pharmacy information management systems and charge/inventory control
