Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support to residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical changes
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
- Assist with care planning and follow established facility policies
- Educate residents and families about care plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current LPN license or practical nurse certification (Pennsylvania license preferred)
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or certificate (LPN program) from an accredited school
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Patient assessment and basic wound care
- Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity or willingness to learn
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
- Compassionate patient-centered care and family communication
