Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in line with facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform focused patient assessments and monitor vital signs
- Document patient condition, interventions, and responses clearly and timely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Support patient education and discharge planning with empathy and clarity
- Escalate changes in patient condition promptly to RN/physician as appropriate
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of Georgia (or compact/state-appropriate licensure)
- Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Clinical experience as an LPN preferred; relevant acute care or long-term care experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or certificate required; LPN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Patient assessment and recognition of changes in condition
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Good communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Ability to work in fast-paced, patient-focused environments
