Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients with accuracy and heart
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor patient status, document changes, and report concerns promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
- Support patient comfort, safety, and dignity during each shift
- Participate in shift handoffs, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current and active LPN license (Georgia preferred or compact where applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable working 12+ hour shifts and providing hands-on patient care
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous LPN experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent LPN program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical skills including medication administration and wound care
- Strong documentation practices and charting accuracy
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and escalate patient needs
- Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
- Compassionate bedside manner and effective teamwork
