Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to RN/leadership
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and coordinated handoffs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient record
- Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
- Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies to keep patients safe
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Georgia (GA) required
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Immunizations and health screenings per facility policy
- Prior LPN clinical experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, observation, and prioritization skills
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Wound care basics and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
- Infection control procedures and patient safety principles
- Ability to work calmly in fast-paced clinical settings
- Team collaboration and effective patient/family communication
