Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care during the overnight shift
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient condition
  • Support the nursing team by reporting changes and following care plans
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
  • Able to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Comfortable providing direct patient care and assisting with ADLs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Available for the scheduled per-diem assignment dates

Education

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Fundamental patient care and hygiene techniques
  • Vital sign monitoring and basic documentation
  • Infection control practices and safe patient handling
  • Time management during busy overnight shifts
  • Professional, respectful patient and family interaction
