Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and daily living assistance
• Take and record vital signs, observing and reporting changes promptly
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and toileting while preserving patient dignity
• Communicate clearly with nurses and the care team to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow facility policies
• Support a safe, clean environment through infection control and safety practices

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfort working overnight shifts and supporting patients with dignity
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical knowledge of basic nursing care and patient mobility techniques
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety standards
• Good observational skills and the ability to report changes in patient condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
