Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
• Keep patient rooms and equipment clean to support infection control and comfort

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active or valid authorization to work in the state of California
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong skills are welcome
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Reliable transportation for per-diem shift coverage

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable with patient handling and safe transfer techniques
• Skilled at taking and documenting vital signs and basic patient observations
• Strong communication and teamwork with nurses, therapists, and families
• Familiarity with infection control best practices and PPE use
• Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, empathy, and commitment to patient dignity
