Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid California CNA license or ability to obtain California certification
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and able to respond to per-diem requests
• BLS/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED (typical requirement)
• Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, patient hygiene
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Accurate documentation and charting of patient information
• Effective verbal and written communication with clinical teams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
