Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients overnight, ensuring safety and comfort
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support nurses with patient transfers, positioning, and basic clinical tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and families to keep them informed
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the assigned system

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and personal care
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Customer-service mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Previous CNA experience in a clinical setting preferred

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in direct patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
• Strong observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
• Reliable time management and teamwork in fast-paced shifts
• Basic electronic charting/documentation familiarity
