Shift Type: Friday-Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate bedside care to help patients feel safe and comfortable
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
  • Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
  • Support nurses and the care team by responding to patient needs promptly
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control best practices
  • Communicate changes in patient condition clearly and timely to nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California)
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
  • Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
  • Dependable, team-oriented attitude with strong patient advocacy

Education

  • Completion of an approved CNA training program
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven skills in personal care, patient transfers, and safe lifting techniques
  • Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
  • Basic familiarity with electronic charting and documentation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families
  • Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and patient privacy
