Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families
• Document care and observations promptly and thoroughly in the chart
• Support mobility and transfer assistance while following safe lift procedures

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
• Comfortable working night shifts and able to handle 12+ hour shift cadence
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred; new CNAs with training are welcome

Education

• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient personal care and ADLs
• Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Strong observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective teamwork
