Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to support resident care plans
• Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of New Mexico
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per diem scheduling
• Strong observational skills and ability to follow care plans
• Reliable, punctual, and able to pass background and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

• Basic nursing care and personal care techniques
• Vital signs measurement and documentation
• Patient safety, infection control, and proper body mechanics
• Effective communication and teamwork in a healthcare setting
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
