Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-focused nursing care in accordance with facility protocols
Administer medications accurately and document administration in the health record
Perform routine assessments and promptly report clinical changes to the care team
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow regulatory documentation standards
Support resident safety, infection control practices, and a positive care environment
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes as needed

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with residents and families
Ability to pass facility background checks and meet vaccination/health requirements

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or certificate (LPN program completion required)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Clinical assessment skills and basic wound care knowledge
Familiarity with infection control procedures and resident safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic health records and standard clinical documentation
Teamwork mindset and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
