Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Perform rapid triage and focused assessments to prioritize care
Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, and the ED team to coordinate treatment
Document patient care timely and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
Respond calmly and effectively to critical situations and emergencies
Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Emergency Department experience or training preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Current Basic Life Support skills and familiarity with emergency protocols

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment
Trauma and acute care principles
IV placement and medication administration
Familiarity with sepsis recognition and rapid response protocols
Proficient documentation in electronic medical records
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
