Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Varies (Per Diem / As-needed), 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations
Communicate changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart
Follow infection control protocols and facility safety standards
Support a positive, respectful environment for patients, families, and coworkers

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any required screening
Compassionate patient-care mindset and good communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe resident transfer and positioning techniques
Basic charting and documentation skills
Knowledge of infection prevention and universal precautions
Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
