Shift Type: Days vary (per diem), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing leadership
- Document care accurately and timely in facility records
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to deliver quality care
- Engage residents socially to promote dignity and emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- Current state registration/certification as required for Maryland
- Previous experience with geriatric populations preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work overnight shifts
- Strong communication, observation, and teamwork skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic resident care
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Ability to accurately document care and observe changes in resident condition
- Comfortable working in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and patience when supporting older adults
