Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As scheduled (varies), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (night shift)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents at Bear Canyon Rhb Ctr
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and promptly report changes
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to execute care plans
Assist residents with activities of daily living and promote independence
Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies
Support transitions of care and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred
Comfort working overnight shifts and flexible availability
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration and documentation skills
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Knowledge of long-term care clinical practices and regulatory standards
Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting
Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff
Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
