Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for a high-volume patient population, maintaining vigilance for critical changes
• Operate GE Carescape for admission, discharge, and end-of-shift reporting to ensure accurate monitoring records
• Communicate clearly and promptly with floor staff using desktop phone and iPhone app to coordinate patient care
• Maintain detailed call logs and documentation to support continuity and compliance
• Prioritize and manage multiple alarms and patient streams while remaining calm and professional
• Support unit workflow by collaborating with team members and escalating concerns when appropriate

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in remote monitoring or telemetry (explicit requirement)
• Telemetry competence and the ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and familiarity with high-volume monitoring
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills, including comfortable use of an iPhone and related apps
• Reliable attendance, strong English reading and writing skills, and excellent multitasking ability
• Willingness to work scheduled weekends and participate in on-call rotations
• Preferred: CNA or cardiac nursing background, ECG board certification, and prior GE monitoring experience
