Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams by accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate exposure techniques
• Operate CT equipment and monitor image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
• Serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists and the support team to facilitate clear communication
• Use critical thinking and professional judgement to assess patient needs and modify procedures safely
• Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient history and contrast administration when applicable
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety and departmental protocols at all times
• Assist with peripheral vascular access procedures as required by the unit

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license
• Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Demonstrated competence in CT imaging, patient positioning and exposure techniques
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts including every other weekend
