Shift Type: 4 x 10-hour shifts, Day/Evening (no overnights), every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT exams by accurately positioning patients and selecting appropriate exposure techniques
- Operate CT equipment and monitor image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists and the support team to facilitate clear communication
- Use critical thinking and professional judgement to assess patient needs and modify procedures safely
- Maintain thorough documentation of procedures, patient history and contrast administration when applicable
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety and departmental protocols at all times
- Assist with peripheral vascular access procedures as required by the unit
Qualifications
- Current California Certified Radiological Technologist (CRT) license
- Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Demonstrated competence in CT imaging, patient positioning and exposure techniques
- Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work 4x10-hour shifts including every other weekend
